Until you actually go out and actively shop for drink coasters, you just can’t fathom what’s available. They’ve thought of everything… close anyway. There’s cork (obvious), stone, linen, felt, teak, rubber, leather, agate, silver, tile, glass… that’s just some of the materials. Then there are the designs - Rorschach ink blot coasters, cartoons, street signs, bullseyes, vinyl record knock-offs… did we mention sports related coasters.
If you have wood tables, you really need coasters. A wet drink can leave a mark that is difficult or impossible to get out. A nice set of coasters can be decorative and remain out and available all the time. Save the football coasters for the big game!
