Fall is just around the corner and I'm stocking up on baking goodies like new cake pans. I am going to branch out more this year and get some of the molded shapes and then practice my frosting skills by making the shapes come to life. How about a nice lemon cake with raspberry swirl?

There's no better smell than freshly-baked bread. The well-stocked kitchen of any baker includes high-quality pieces made to last a lifetime. Look for brands with a good reputation and one professional cooks love.

Bakeware is just plain good fun because everyone enjoys nearly everything you bake. It doesn’t matter if you bake a cake for the kids, a pie for desert or some tasty bread for your cocktail party, everyone gobbles it right up.
Shopping considerations for bakeware include what you want to bake, which might include anything from cupcakes (cupcake tin) to tarts (tart pan). Once you have your list figured out, the next big consideration is what type of finish. You might consider Teflon coated for easy removal and cleanup, or one of the new ceramic stone finishes or a painted glaze. Most of these have cost and cleanup tradeoffs.
